Nili Lotan is a critically acclaimed designer whose collection of ready to wear is synonymous with sophisticated, timeless wardrobe staples. Born and raised in Israel, Nili’s influences remain rooted in her culturally rich upbringing, which inspired her love for fashion from an early age.After graduating from the prestigious Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv, Nili moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion design where she lead design teams for some of the industry’s most iconic names, including Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne and Nautica.
In 2003, Nili launched her eponymous label, grounded in the belief that a woman’s wardrobe should function as an extension of herself. She quickly became known for her military inspired separates and signature cami dresses, which were embraced by women seeking understated and effortless pieces with an appreciation for impeccable fit and quality materials. The majority of Nili’s collection is produced in New York where her design studio is based. The first Nili Lotan retail store opened in Tribeca in 2006, followed by her East Hampton store in 2012; the boutiques have evolved to reflect the Nili Lotan lifestyle and present an array of home, art and vintage items personally curated by Nili to reflect her inspirations and brand ethos.
Nili was recognized by the CFDA in 2012 when she was inducted as a member of the esteemed organization. Her collection is regularly featured in top US and international publications and has become a favorite among fashion’s elite, including Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Christy Turlington, Jennifer Lawrence, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Julianne Moore, among others.Nili is the mother of three children and lives in Tribeca with her husband, renowned Israeli singer songwriter, David Broza.
