Mara Hoffman

When Mara Hoffman launched her label in 2000, the Parson’s graduate quickly carved her niche with rainbow kaleidoscopic prints on bodycon dresses and itsy bikinis. Over the past two decades, her name has become synonymous with vibrant graphics, but in 2017, the designer shifted directions with a new business model and mantra, committing to sustainable manufacturing and eco-conscious fabrics. Cheerful color and carefree shapes continue to cater to a bohemian-minded woman, but mini dresses in stretch fabrics have been replaced with solid cotton shirtdresses and simple wrap tops for a refined perspective. It’s a change worth celebrating for the Mara Hoffman customer, for the industry, and for the earth.
