Markus Lupfer graduated in 1997 from London’s University of Westminster with a first-class honors degree. Thanks to his unique style and the artful way Lupfer refreshes everyday basics for the modern consumer. The German-born designer didn’t wait long for commercial success as his critically acclaimed final year collection was immediately bought by fashion boutique Koh Samui and shortly here after, he was awarded the New Generation Award in 2001. This award was a pivotal in allowing him to show the label that bears his name.

Markus Lupfer’s talent and expertise has created opportunities for collaboration and consultancy projects with international brands Ruffo, Cacharel, Mulberry and, Armand Basi One; which under Lupfer’s direction was a must see London Fashion Week show.

Markus Lupfer’s witty and unique approach to sequined embroidery has won him loyal customers the world over. Particularly this seasons Fall 2015 collection was a pleasing mix of quirky jacquards, fine knits with stunning patterned necklines. With touches of inspiration from Mulberry, but with powerfully relevant street-style sportiness this collection is rich and cheery.

Lupfer is renowned for his humorously subversive knitwear and inspired approach to jersey daywear and tailoring.
