<p><span>The story of Missoni's kaleidoscope of zigzagged, waved, and striped patterns began in 1948 when founding partners Rosita and Ottavio met at the Olympic games in London. Married in 1953, the two soon established a small knitwear store in Gallarate, Italy. Since then, their bold, geometric designs continue to make waves on the fashion stage with Rosita and Ottavio’s three children at the helm. The brand expanded into sportswear, fragrances, home furnishing, and hotels. </span></p>
<p>M Missoni, the main line’s more youthful and lower-priced brand, was introduced in 1998. This cool, free-spirited little sister takes on a casual but energetic persona that appeals to the non-conformist. While pattern, color, and texture remain central to each season’s collections, M Missoni manages to consistently inject new life into its designs.</p>
