Diptyque is a perfume company that was found in 1961 by a trio of talented friends, Desmond Knox-Leet, Yves Coueslant, and Christiane Gautrot. Initially, this French luxury brand was producing printed fabrics diversifying their vision into scented candles production in 1963. In no time Diptyque has become the primary aroma of the wealthiest homes in Paris. The brand’s travel-inspired creations have been taking their clients on the aromatic journey across the world not only with their candles but also the perfumes. Diptyque launched its first unisex perfume in 1968, L’Eau, followed by many others.
